One22 Resource Center has joined with 10 local nonprofits for a community-wide Día de Los Muertos celebration! Día de los Muertos is a festive multi-day holiday, originating in Mexico, during which family and friends gather to joyfully remember departed loved ones. One Día de los Muertos tradition is the creation of ofrendas (home altars) with the favorite food and beverages of the departed. On Tuesday, November 2, partnering nonprofits will install unique ofrendas outside offices around Jackson. The community is invited to join in the celebration by picking BINGO cards at Teton Literacy Center (1715 High School Road, #260), or from the ofrenda at OLM. Visitors will stamp their BINGO cards at each ofrenda site, returning completed BINGO cards the evening of November 2 to One22’s Jackson Cupboard (245 North Glenwood) for a chance to win fabulous prizes!

Dia de los muertos!
Este 2 de noviembre One22 Resource Center y sus socios locales estarán organizando una celebración comunitaria del Dia de los Muertos. Para participar en este festejo descargue el mapa y la tarjeta BINGO AQUÍ (one22jh.org/dia-de-los-muertos) y únase a la búsqueda de diez ofrendas del Día de Muertos instalados en los distintos lugares alrededor de Jackson. Cuando complete su tarjeta BINGO visitando los 10 ofrendas, pase por Jackson Cupboard (245 North Glenwood) para participar en la rifa y recoger un regalo tradicional del Día de los Muertos!
