We are beginning a series of very short book reviews from our Parish library (located in the Hall). There are SO many wonderful selections in the many categories: Spiritual Growth, Family Life, Social Justice, Church History, Teen and Young Adult, among others. Literally there is something in those shelves for everyone. And you are invited to check it out (Borrowing is on the honor system).
When Jorge Bergoglio was elected Pope, he was compared to Pope John XXIII. What was it about the two men that they could be easily compared? Our church library has several biographies of good Pope John. Take one out and make your own decision! Estamos comenzando una serie de reseñas de libros muy breves de nuestra biblioteca parroquial (ubicada en el Salón). Hay tantas selecciones maravillosas en las muchas categorías: crecimiento espiritual, vida familiar, justicia social, historia de la iglesia, adolescentes y adultos jóvenes, entre otras. Literalmente, hay algo en esos estantes para todos. Y está invitado a comprobarlo (y comprobarlo está en el sistema de honor).
