Our “Readers” book group discussions continue to stimulate our Catholic minds! Please join us for our next session, Tuesday, October 8 at 8:30 a.m. at OLM. We will watch a film by Bishop Robert Barron on Fulton J. Sheen in the Pivotal Players series. These are so well done! We will learn about the life, teachings and times of Bishop Sheen, who was a great television personality with strong and relevant lessons on living the Faith.
On October 22, we will meet for our next reading discussion of a short story by Flannery O’Connor entitled Revelation. We have agreed to delve deeper into her unusual and challenging writings, realizing her short stories (rather than novels) will be more accessible. Come for one or any number of times. The more opinions and ideas on these literary works the better!
