The annual convention for the Wyoming Council of Catholic Women will be in Buffalo, WY at St. John The Baptist Church on Sunday, September 23 and Monday, September 24. A registration fee of $80 is due by September 10 to Jennifer Schroefel / PO Box 1085 / Buffalo, WY 82834. Speakers include Deacon Mike Leman; Joseph Stong of Wyoming Catholic College; Mary Martin; Mary Ann Cummins; Monique Barron; Dr. Katarina Rosenblatt, a human trafficking victim and survivor advocate; and a caregiver from the Buffalo Senior Center. Registration begins at 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 23. The convention ends with a banquet on Monday evening at Colonel Bozeman’s in Buffalo. All attendees who wish should bring clean underwear and socks for a child for a service project to benefit trafficking victims, foster youth, and crisis centers.
