The Solemnity of the Sacred Heart—Friday, June 8—is the World Day of Sanctification for Priests. On that day, the Diocese of Cheyenne will celebrate the priestly ordination of Deacon Clark Lenz and Deacon Bryce Lungren. Bishop Steven will preside at a Holy Hour at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Cheyenne. If possible, please come to this special prayer for those to be ordained and for all of our priests. On Friday, the people throughout the Diocese are encouraged to pray at their local churches or in their homes or work places for those being ordained to the priesthood and all our priests.
