Advent Adult Ed Class – “Mary, The Mother of God”
Nov 17 @ 9:00 am – 9:45 am

The class will look at the life of The Blessed Virgin
Mary, from her birth to her Assumption, diving
deep into the beliefs we have as Catholics and
where they come from.
Each Sunday we’ll watch a 20-30 minute video
from the “Footprints of God” series which actually
visits the places in the Holy Land where Mary lived
and travelled. Then we’ll spend 15-20 minutes on
some discussion and answering any questions.
Among the topics we’ll cover are: discovering the
Mary of the Bible to help us know and love her
Son; understanding Mary’s Immaculate Conception;
Mary’s role as intercessor; her Assumption into
Heaven; and more.
All adults are invited to attend these sessions led by
Deacon Doug. Don’t worry if you can’t be there for
all four! Each of them stands alone.
