The Parish Council is made-up of baptized Catholics who are members of Our Lady of the Mountains Parish and were nominated and selected to serve on the Parish Council.
The Parish Council meets monthly with an agenda set by the Pastor and the Chairperson of the Parish Council.
The Parish Council provides servant leadership by representing the interests of all parishioners. The Council serves by providing collaborative feedback to the Pastor.
The Parish Council is composed of no less than 5, but no more than 15 members who serve one year, or three-year terms. All parishioners of Our Lady of the Mountains Parish may nominate individuals for the Parish Council. Individuals may also nominate themselves. Nominations go to the Pastor directly. Selections are usually made in the late spring. The selection process involves discernment and typically an election.
