Annual WCCW Convention

St. John the Baptist Church in Buffalo, Wyoming, is the site for the 65th Wyoming Council of Catholic Women (WCCW) convention on Sunday, September 23 and Monday, September 24. Sunday will feature breakout sessions with Deacon Leman, Joseph Stong of Wyoming Catholic College, Mary Martin on Leadership, and Mary Ann Cummins on Officer training and a tour of the Wool Mill.  A business meeting and Mass will be at 5pm, followed by a dinner prepared by the women of St. John’s, with speaker Monique Barron of Ranchester talking on the theme “Reflecting God’s Joy: Missionary Disciples – Mission Possible.” Monday will feature the principal speaker, Dr. Katariina Rosenblatt, a victim of human trafficking and now advocate for trafficking victims and a lawyer.
