Following the reduction of COVID restrictions across the County & State, and in accordance with guidance put forth by the Diocese of Cheyenne, Our Lady of the Mountains will continue to reduce COVID restrictions at the Church.
The following is a message from clergy related to these new measures.

We Are Reducing COVID-19 Restrictions
Beginning Friday, May 14th, we will modify our restrictions related to COVID-19. These changes are being made in accordance with guidance from the Diocese of Cheyenne:
- No capacity restrictions.
- Face masks are no longer mandatory for Mass attendees.
- However, face masks are encouraged for all, especially for those not vaccinated. The best medical counsel is to wear face masks when indoors or crowded outdoor settings.
- Face masks are required for liturgical ministers when processing, distributing Communion, or in close proximity to others.
- Altar servers will begin to be used at Mass.
(Note: If a serious outbreak occurs, protocols may be reinstated.)
For those who may be uncomfortable with attending more crowded Masses, we recommend that you consider the 8:00 am Sunday Mass; it typically has lower attendance than the other weekend Masses.
We look forward to the possibility of more reduction of restrictions in the coming weeks if conditions continue to improve (e.g., no limitations in singing and returning to a full choir, Communion distributed from the Chalice, coffee & donuts after Mass; etc.). Bishop Steven has asked us to remind all Catholics that the most important step each of us can take moving forward is to receive the vaccine. Currently, 27% of all Wyoming residents and 56% of Teton County residents are fully vaccinated. If you are hesitant to receive the vaccine, please speak with your doctor.

Estamos reduciendo las restricciones de COVID-19
A partir del viernes 14 de mayo, modificaremos nuestras restricciones relacionadas con COVID-19. Estos cambios se realizan de acuerdo con la orientación de la Diócesis de Cheyenne:
