This summer, spend 6 days in God’s Country in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming. This trip will spend the first day rock climbing, rappelling, and preparing for the backpacking trip. Then, the group will set out for a 5-day backpacking trip in the famous Wind River Mountains, which are known for their amazing lakes and peaks, one of which you will climb. Fishing is optional.
WHO: Any high school youth involved in a Catholic youth group in Wyoming
WHEN: 9 a.m. on Monday, July 15 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 20
WHERE: The Wind River Mountains near Lander, WY
HOW: Talk to your youth director about signing up; space is limited!
COST: $480 + cost of transportation to Lander, WY. The trip fee covers everything you need for the 6 days from food and outdoor equipment to professional instructors and more. You will need to provide some personal items such as hiking boots, hiking clothes, toiletries, etc. A gear list is provided detailing what COR provides and what you need to bring.
